We may be doing a series of weekly challenges this month but we didn’t want you to miss out on your regular challenge fix as well!
Spring is all about freshening your life up and throwing off winter so we figure you can’t have too much motivation to make some changes…
TAME
Spring-ify your body. It’s not exactly hard to do but make sure you set aside an hour or so to give your body a spruce up. We’re talking exfoliation, moisturising, giving your hair a treatment, whacking on a face mask and dealing to those toe nails (yep, it’s amazing the nail polish you applied at the height of summer is still there, but it’s not a good thing!).
Got the travel bug but no funds? Start researching and planning your dream trip. Even if you can’t afford to do it now, learning all about that place may just inspire you to kick start a little savings scheme so you can eventually make the dream a reality.
INTERMEDIATE
Get your summer clothes out of storage. While it may not be warm enough to start running around in singlets and shorts yet, you will start to layer with these lighter clothes rather than your thick woolly jumpers so it pays to have them on hand. This also gives you a chance to assess what you need for the new season.
Up your vege intake. Stop eating stodgy winter food and freshen up your diet. Start by aiming to add two extra veges to every meal. This will encourage you to get creative with your grocery shopping and it’s a great way to discover new tastes.
CHALLENGING
Create a world record. Guinness World Records Day takes place on November 9 and this year you can get involved and, if you’re successful, feature in the book! Head to www.guinnessworldrecords.com to register your record and also to check out existing records you might want to try and break.
Suss out your New Years. This may not sound challenging, but if you have a big group of friends to organise it can be a logistical nightmare. Find out what everyone wants to do and get a booking made pronto if you plan to go away. A bit of forward planning will mean you get to spend the night with the people you really care about.
