August Challenges: Week Three

We're already up to our third set of challenges! There will be no excuse for not jumping out of your comfort zone after you read through this list...

TAME

  • Try a food you hated as a child, you may be surprised to learn your taste has matured
  • Become a wine guru (if you’re off the legal drinking age, of course!). Do a course, visit a vineyard and pick up some phrases or do some reading online. Get started with this article on food and wine matching click here.
  • Up your water intake – aim for those 8 glasses a day and try and cut down on caffeine. Check out this article for some ideas to get you started click here

    INTERMEDIATE

  • Assess your career path. Take some time to think about your job and make sure it’s still making you happy. If not, think of ways you could improve things or alternative directions you could take. If you’re at uni but hating it, it’s a good idea to step back and think about changing courses rather than just finish your study path for the sake of it.
  • Go to your doctor and get a complete WOF for your body. Get that smear test you’ve been putting off (it’s not that bad, really!), and deal with any niggling little health issues that have been bothering you. It’s also a good idea to check in with your optician and see how your eyes are doing, plus don’t forget to a visit to the dentist!
  • Do something for someone else. Whether it’s a nice deed for your family, your friends or maybe a charity, we have a huge list of ideas to get you started, just click here

    CHALLENGING

  • Unleash your inner daredevil. Always wanted to bungy jump, sky dive or maybe just head out in a kayak? Well, what’s holding you back? Find someone likeminded you can drag along, figure out the best place to complete your adventure and just do it!
  • Move out of home. Sometimes the time has come, but you just need that little push. We’ll have a article full of helpful advice to get you started on site later in the week.
  • Get a brazilian. Always thought about it but don’t think you have the guts? Steel your nerves and give it a go. Get the low down on the whole process here.
