I wanted to celebrate the release of the DVD this week as this movie is fashion porn at its finest (sorry but there really is no other word for it!). All the stores are awash with pretty summer pieces (especially spring florals), so here are some of the newly released chain store dresses inspired by the film…
 

Glassons

I love their new dresses! I’m not a big Glassons fan but I checked out their new range recently and was impressed with the variety and quality of the dresses available. The Pandora Stud belt is also an excellent find and looks like it was inspired by Carrie’s vintage belt in the film. From left to right they are Kiley dress $39.99, Elma Checked dress $39.99 and Keri Print dress $99 (with Pandora belt $24.99).

Just Jeans

Beachwear is big at Just Jeans right now and they have a bunch of dresses that would go perfectly with Carrie’s ‘Mexicoma’ holiday. These ones are (from left to right) Beach Bohemia $69.99, Surf Inspired Textured dress $89.99 and Floral Cutwork detail dress $69.99

Max

Every season they produce some stunning dresses and this season is no exception. I found it really hard to choose just three as there are so many gorgeous ones in fabulous colours. My favourites are the (from left to right) Juliette dress, Zoe dress and Sonya dress, all $129.
 

Portmans

Portmans are all about florals at the moment; there are soooooo many pretty dresses, tops and skirts in store! If you are after a party dress or just some new summer clothes Portmans are definitely worth checking out. For those of you on a tight budget they also still have a bunch of clothes on sale and there are still good cheaper finds to be had. These dresses are especially Carrie worthy (from left to right) Spot Prom dress $149.90, Cushion Rose Mini dress $139.90 and Full Bloom dress $169.90.
