The Cute and Funky Pull Back

We love the clean lines of this new do which has the cute pin up edge. A totally great way to approach a modern yet vintage hair look.

1: Wash and dry hair as normal before blowdrying on a medium setting to dampen down volume and give a feeling of straightness.
2: Work a little volumising mousse, such as Wella System Professional Sleek Essence into the roots and blowdry adding a little volume to the crown with your fingers.
3: Working from the ear level, straighten the top layer of hair with stylers, such as the new ghd IV purple styler, to give the feeling of sleekness but keeping the volume of the hair underneath.
4:  Take the hair on the side of the hair back and pin in place with a bobby pin, then secure with a flower and clip or flower clip, like the one pictured above from Natalie Chan.

A Little Wave

We love the soft easy to wear wave of this do, perfect not only for glamming up in the evening up also for a easy to achieve weekend do.

1: Wash and condition hair as normal and towel dry to get rid of as much excess moisture as possible. Take a palmful of volumising mouse and patt into hair.
2: Blow dry hair on a medium setting untill dry, straight and de volumed. If your hair is especially long you will benefit from using a round brush, such as this VIA XL Boar Round Brush to tension hair during straightning.
3: Section out your hair and clip back, next take your straighteners, such as ghd gloss stylers, or curling tongs and loosely wrap the hair around from around ear height on a medium to cool setting, sit until just set and then release.
4: To create the second curl, lower down on the hair repeat. And then spray with medium hold hair spray, such as Frederic Fekkai Coiff Océanique - Tousled Wave Spray to set and hold.

The Punky Do

Agyness’s punky hair is played up with pomade to give it defined edge. I love the look, which is half rock n roll do, half high fashion cut.
 

1: Wash and dry hair as normal before blowdrying to dampen down volume.
2: Take your ghd IV purple styler and straighten hair, working in sections from the back of the head towards the front in sections.
3: Take some pomade or low hold gel such as Instant Rockstar Dirty Rock and rub between your palms, go towards the back of the crown and pull the hair forward.
4: Take a little more pomeade in your hand and rub between fingers to define the rest of the hair, paying attention to the back of the head and the sides of the face. Finish with a light spritz of medium-hold hairspray, such as L'Oreal Professionnel tecni.art air fix
