Scarves and bandanas are great new season style updaters, whether it's looping them through belt loops or using them as a headband. Just in time for CanTeen's annual appeal, the Bandanna Challenge (17 - 31 October), we've found some gorgie runway and celebrity inspiration for wearing both bandannas and scarves...
Add to your waist
Take a cue from the likes of Paul Smith and Sharon Stone and wear your scarf or bandana on the hipline. The cute picks from Canteen won’t fit around most waists, but look just as cute looped over a belt cinching in at the waist, or tied to your belt loops.
The runways show us how cute a bandana can be if it's tied in it's traditional way, over the top of the head. If you are more of a headband kind of girl, fold it over to form a rectangle and tie like a more traditional headband.
Spice up your old bags by tying a bandana or scarf around your handbag straps or looping through the detailing. This chic approach is a great choice for neutral bags allowing you to add a little colour into your outfit.
Wrap your bandana around your wrist or wear scarf style around your neck. Need some ideas on how to tie your scarf to along your neckline? Just check out our scarf tying special for some great tips.
Remember to get involved with the fantastic CanTeen Bandanna Appeal running from October 17 - 31. Pick up one of the gorgeous bandannas for yourself here now!
