Ombre or dip dyed items are popping up everywhere at the moment. On a stroll down Ponsonby Road the windows seem to be all sporting something with a dip dyed feel.

The thing is that even if this trend is really pretty, you know it’s not necessarily going to be a long time stayer on the fashion scene. So even if that silk chiffon version in the window of the boutique is oh-so pretty, it’s probably not the best idea to hand over your credit card for it.
