“Those things which increase passion should be done first, and those which are only for amusement or variety should be done afterwards” - Kama Sutra, 1883 The Book of Kama Sutra is an ancient Indian text written to help men have happy marriages. Despite the popular mis-conception it wasn’t actually all about sex - of the seven chapters, only the second ‘On Sexual Union’ was about the dirty deed.
Of course, this was probably one of the most popular chapters and while the original treated women as objects, the positions and techniques are designed to give both partners pleasure and are up to play with any sex advice dished out today. Due to the fact we’re all quite anatomically different, Kama Sutra has different moves for different grooves. In cases of ‘high congress’ (when his man-bits are bigger than you) you are a Mrigi (deer) woman and should lie in a way to widen your yoni (you can guess what that one means). In ‘low congress’ combos, the Hastini (elephant) woman should lie in such a way to contract hers, thus creating ‘equal congress’. D eer-woman ways of lying down 1: Widely opened When she lowers her head and raises her middle parts, it is called the 'widely opened position'. At such a time the man should apply some unguent, so as to make the entrance easy. Get your man to kneel on the bed. Raise your rear and wrap your legs around him. Arch your back as he thrusts while getting him to support you by holding you underneath your back. Not only will he enjoy the view but it’s a great position for g-spot stimulation – not to mention easy! 2: The yawning position
When she raises her thighs and keeps them wide apart and engages in congress, it is called the 'yawning position'. This one’s pretty self-explanatory – just keep ‘em spread. 3: The position of the wife of indra
When she places her thighs with her legs doubled on them upon her sides, and thus engages in congress, it is called the position of Indrani. Lie on your back with your knees bent up to your chest. Get your man to kneel behind you and enter you. You can pull him towards you by grabbing onto his bum, resting your legs by his armpits or push your feet against his chest. Elephant-woman (don’t be offended!) ways of lying down1: The Clasping position When the legs of both the male and the female are stretched straight out over each other, it is called the 'clasping position'. While this position is traditionally done with the man on top, switch things up a little and put yourself in the domineering position. Get your man to lie down with his legs stretched out then get on top and let him enter you. As he does, stretch your legs out behind you and start to move back and forth.
It might be a little awkward at first but preserve and you’ll be rewarded! Lots of full body contact, kissing and touching to be had. 2: The Pressing position
When, after congress has begun in the clasping position, the woman presses her lover with her thighs, it is called the 'pressing position'. Take the Clasping position that little bit further with a few squeezes of your thighs. Just for fun1: The Tigress Get your man to lie on the bed then sit on top of him and lean back with one hand on his chest. He then grabs hold of your waist and thrusts up and down with the bonus being you’re in control the whole time. 2: The Lotus Test your flexibility with this yoga-styled move. Lie on your back, cross your legs and bring them up to your chest as close as possible. He then thrusts while you try to hold the pose! The Lotus is an interesting twist on your favourite exercise and great for reaching your g-spot. 3: The Milk and Water embrace Find yourself a chair with no arms and offer your man a seat. Climb onto him facing away then start with some good old foreplay – this move starts with you guiding his hands where you want them to go. Once you’re both in the mood, he lifts you up and lowers you onto him then rock back and forth. Liselle |
