Makeup Trends: The Green Eye

Our inspiration for this sudden green love? None other than the most amazing green eyes at Alexandre Herchcovitch that I spied at a recent MAC launch. Flicking through the pages of the MAC inspiration book were example after example of why a green eye works. Malandrio had full on green shadow whilst Badgley Mischka had turquoise dabbed in the inner corner. Aslan Turk had shimmery green blended into dark sparkly aubergine, and an amazing green and blue eye at Gareth Pugh.



Off the runways a little bit of green will instantly update your makeup look, weather worn on its own, as a contrast liner or blended in to more natural tones. My favourite way to wear green? Next time you do a smokey eye swap out the darker tones for a dark olive green and a rich brown, and wait for the compliments to role in!
