Nadia, Campaign Executive: Fantail Necklace from the Boh Runga Birdland Collection for NZ Mint
RRP: $199
The temptation grew too strong and I couldn’t resist! Lots of the girls in the office have a necklace from Boh Runga’s Birdland jewellery collection and I was so envious that I just had to get one. So, my pay came and went but, at least I have a pretty necklace. I haven’t taken it off since, as it is the perfect length and looks great with everything! Plus it is designed by an nzgirl which is even cooler. I love my fantail!
NB: The fantail will be available from our online store very soon! Click here to check out the other gorgeous pieces from Boh Runga's Birdland Collection.
My fav buy for this month is my brand new Ladkah dress from Lippy. I know it’s winter, so I’m not planning on wearing it too much at the moment, but come summer time I’ll be whipping it out as my new fav party dress! I love the colour and the cut is super flattering. My friend and I loved it so much, we both got it - but in different colours of course! It can be such a mission trying to find a pretty new dress, so I’m sooo stoaked to have this baby!
Isla, Content Producer: Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner RRP: $40 I was recently at the Bobbi Brown, picking up some foundation, when one of their gorgeous makeup artists grabbed me and said “What eyeliner are you wearing? It’s horrible!” It really was. I’d had a long, boozy Saturday lunch with the girls and, as a result, my eyeliner had scattered over my general eye area (a bit even got as far as my nose). Pretty. The lovely Bobbi Brown lady sat me up on a chair and redid my eyeliner with some of their gorgeous Long Wear Gel Eyeliner. I don’t have much faith in eye makeup that claims to last but by the time I got home later that night, my eyeliner was still where it should be! Needless to say I went back and grabbed it.
Tee, Editor: Nudie Tight Long John Jeans, Dry Black Coat $269.00 from Made
RRP: $269
I have been lusting after these jeans for way too long and now they are finally mine, all mine! I love jeans – they’re so versatile, can be dressed up for work with heels and a blazer, or down with sneakers and a singlet for weekend casual. When two of my old favourites passed on (rest in peace Denimbirds and Wranglers!) it was time to fill the void with these fabulousities from Nudie. I love the Nudie fit (like a glove to my body), the cut (above the waist and straight down) and the unique finish of the dry black coat for a dressier twist! Anya, Fashion and Beauty Manager: Emily Martin Mysterious Genevive print RRP: $225.00
Mysterious Genevive is the newest member of my family. She's a gorgeous limited edition signed and numbered print by talented artist Emily Martin, known for her character rich depictions of whimsical girls and slightly scary young children. The prints are near impossible to find now but I picked mine up from a fantastic design store in Auckland. Genevive and her mysteriousness is taking pride of place on my wall at home. Emily also sells her work on Etsy and has her own blog here. Vicky, Campaign Manager: Huffer Puffer jacket
RRP: $299
Winter deems cold and rain, so we all need a good jacket to keep us wrapped up from the forces. I’m loving my new season Huffer Puffer jacket for two main reasons - it’s snugly and warm, and it’s warm and snugly! The hood is also perfect for hiding from the rain. This season's style is fresh, with the subtle zig zag white stitching across the jacket. It’s perfect for those cold mornings when all you want to do is stay in bed and snuggle because it’s so icy outside! With this bad boy, you barely feel the cold. Like all puffer jackets, once you have one, they’ll last you many winters….so invest now.
Sarah, Art Director: White Chucks from Route 66
RRP: $85 I am all for looking casual 24/7, all day, every day and I was about to wear out my current kicks, so I bought some more. I bought my fourth pair of chucks to add to the pile of blue, green and black pairs I already own. They're all high tops, and all wonderfully comfortable. This time I thought I would go for the good old white sneaker styles. I love them and have kept them from getting filthy for a couple of weeks which is pretty good!
I have a secret crush on Shanton. Without fail I always find a gem in that store and the price point is so affordable I can always justify it. My sister and I went on a another speed shopping spree last Saturday afternoon and I came away with this. I love the purple-hued grey colour, and I was AMAZED at the fit. Eye-hooks can easily look really bad but the cut is way beyond what you’d expect for $29.00. Bargain!
Emma, Advertising Manager: Body Shop Coconut Butter RRP: $30 The Body Shop’s Coconut Butter helps to make those chilly early mornings slightly more bearable! Slather your body with its yummy, scrummy goodness and for the rest of the day you’ll be trailing around a little hint of summer.
