When it comes to my skin I’m pedantic. I am the person who buys the full line of products from my favourite skin care companies and gets way too excited at the thought of a new cleanser!
That said my skin isn’t actually that great, and more often than not I'm met with disappointment than joy when it comes to the products I try.
When the Wave arrived on my desk I had already heard rave reviews from overseas. One of my American based buddies had said that it was now indeed her best friend and saviour -that she's never without it and she was excited for the blue one to come out.
Using the Wave is as simple as simple can be, you just pop the little device out of the packaging and slip in the included battery (yes, it comes with its own battery!). Then you open one of the two included packages of cleansing pads and pop one onto the Wave – voila!
From here you just run the wave under some water to activate the cleanser and then turn it on. Don’t be freaked out if it vibrates when you turn it on, that’s what it’s meant to do. The best thing is that this is not just some crazy gimmic!
The benefits of the vibration are two fold. Firstly, it helps to remove skin blockages and penetrate your cleanser deeper, meaning it cleans out all the nasties from your pores and makes your skin super clean. Perfect for those struggling with problematic T zones, acne or anyone that wants gorgeously clean skin. Secondly the vibration works alongside the textured deep cleansing pads to gently exfoliate your skin – resulting in a more radiant complexion and smoother skin overall. The result is that your skin is smoother and more refined!
So how did I find it? I really like the product, choosing to use it on my problem area, my t-zone. I found that my skin was smoother and less prone to acne. I love that it’s easy and fun to use, and you notice the difference after just a few uses! Best bit is you can take it in the shower with you unlike the myriad of other beauty devices on the market. My skin is definitely on the way to being its shiny pre-winter self and the Wave is a big part of that.
Did I mention it’s super cute to look at and the perfect size and shape for your hand - it's fantastically comfortable to use.
The Wave is now part of my skincare system, and I have no hesitation in recommending it!
