When you work in beauty, you hear about ‘wonder beauty products’ every day, and after a while you get a little hardened. So a year ago when a pot of cream landed on my desk with reviews hailing it as ‘a miracle cream’, I’d be forgiven for thinking ‘whatever’. Who would have thought it would turn out to be one of my favourite beauty finds of all time?!
The words ‘Egyptian Magic Cream’ probably strike a chord with most people reading, after all the product name is now being slapped in magazines and beauty blogs left right and centre. Elle, Allure and even Oprah’s O magazine have all raved about this wonder product that has celeb fans including the likes of Madonna, Michelle Tratchenberg and Kate Hudson...
So what does it do? The magical blend can be used to heal burns and sunburn, blisters, cuts and scrapes, chicken pox marks and recently acquired stretch marks, to relieve razor bumps and ingrown hairs, insect bites, to heal skin blemishes, skin discolouration, dry, itchy and ashy skin, diaper and skin rash, skin fungus, haemorrhoids, chapped lips, athlete's foot, cracked skin, dry and itchy scalps, as a leg and facial shaving cream, aftershave lotion, for sun and wind protection, body moisturiser for even the most sensitive areas, hot body massage oil, cuticle oil and hot oil hair masque.... Phew!
Made from a mix of olive oil, beeswax, shea butter, royal jelly and properlis, this naturally based product is one of those must have items and worth every cent!
