Cadbury Dairy Milk Desserts
We are choc-oholics in the nzgirl office - any parcel that arrives on my desk is greeted with a hopeful eyes from the team and a silent prayer that contents are chocolate in some shape or form! We've been known to chastise couriers who don't oblige - shame on us! So, when a box of the new Cadbury Dairy Milk Desserts range appeared, there were happy faces all round. We unanimously decided to sample the Creme Brulee first and it didn't disappoint with a caramel custard centre smothered in Dairy Milk! Equally delish were the Tiramisu and old favourite, Chocolate Brownie variants! Available in the very sharable Kingsize from supermarkets and dairies!

Rhythm and Vines 2008
Rhythm and Vines has become a bit of a kiwi institution as a beachside way to bring in the New Year – complete with a stella New Year concert and the gorgeous Gisbourne coastline. But if you thought you’d been-there-done-that (or you’ve just never got you’re A-into-G and got down there), we’re pretty sure you’re going to want to get along for the 2008 festivities! The festival has grown to a three day extravaganza this year and will include back-to-back days of over 120 acts with some pretty big names set to be announced very shortly ! Air Kisses by Zoe Foster
We heart Fruity Beauty blogger Zoe Foster here at nzgirl - she delivers the freshest beauty snippets 'minus the thin veil of seriousness'! So we naturally couldn't wait to get our hands on her debut novel, Air Kisses when it launched - and the read doesn't disappoint, containing the same fresh approach and Zoe-isms that we know and love! The story is centred around Hannah, a newly appointed beauty ed at the fictional Gloss magazine and the career, friendship and relationship up and downs she experiences and could be seen to be loosely based on Zoe's time at Cosmo in Oz. I particularly love the way Zoe starts each (sassily named) chapters with a beauty tip! Look out for more Zoe love on the site!

Romeo and Juliet
Romeo and Juliet – if you’re a self-respecting nzgirl you’ll have read the play in English class and seen the movie (and countless adaptations) many times! Now, our favourite love story is coming to a stage near you with the Royal New Zealand Ballet’s national tour in July and August. If you’ve never been to the ballet, it’s time to up your culture quotient and head along and get thee hooked – after all this version is based on the Baz Luhrman film (with the la-la-la-lovely Leo).
