I’m a huge fan of the little black dress, which is not surprising. A well chosen black dress can see you through a cocktail party or a work event in style after all. They are also a symbol of luxury and a great tie into our theme this month, Pin-ups.

No  self respecting Pin-up of the 40s or 50s would consider her wardrobe complete without a little black dress, and these days designers are taking cues from their looks to create black dresses that are classic, stylish and different. One of my favourite places locally to pick up an ultra feminine and sexy LBD has to be Illicit.
