I love having a glass or two of wine and a tasty platter with the girls - firstly because of the great company and secondly because of the delicious wine and the tasty treaties. So, I just love the new Eta Uppercuts Crostini range! The crunchy bread snacks come in three flavours, 'Feta and Garlic with Italian Herbs', 'Tomato, Basil and Brie' and 'Sea Salt dotted with Poppy Seeds'. All three get the nzgirl tick of approval! The bags are resealable, great if you're snacking in a controlled environment for keeping them fresh, but in an office of 15 gals they disappear so quick, there's no need...

Takapuna Beach Cafe
My girlfriend Nicola is over from Melbourne at the moment which is super exciting and this made the perfect excuse to travel across the Harbour Bridge and venture to Auckland's Northern Shores and the newly opened Takapuna Beach Cafe! If you're not from Auckland - don't sigh and groan - the Takapuna Beach Cafe is the pefect reason to drive past the Bombays. Owned by the Hip Group who also look after Rosehip Cafe in Parnell, Cafe on Kohi and the Richmond Road Cafe in Ponsonby - this one is their best offerings yet and that's saying something! If you're after brunch on a weekend, a delicious morning Allpress coffee, takeaways on a weeknight or gelato in the afternoon, check out their gourmet goodies...

iGoogle
If I want to know something, chances are I'll google it - it's crazy when you think about how a noun can become a verb and an integral part of your life! Google's always had that personal touch (I love how they celebrate momentous occasions by altering their logo) but their latest development, iGoogle takes personalisation to a new level! You can tailor what you'd like to see when you head to Google and you can even personalise the 'skin' on the page - my current fave is Aussie designer Akira Isogawa! Totally fits my philosophy, that if you're going to use something on a regular basis, it's got to make you happy!

Earth Angel Baby Mama
Earth Angel Baby Mama's Mint Herbal Lip Balm is pitted as a moisturising labour companion - rest assured I'm not in labour (or anytime soon), but I know mums-to-be, as well as any other nzgirl, will love this great find! A combination of calendula, organic St John's Wort and Shea Butter in an organic olive oil base, EABM's lip balm is a delicious, fresh, toxin-free lip product that's cruelty free and artificial preservative free - meaning no parabens! My lips are sensitive wee things, but I love this to keep my smackers soft, smooth, sweet and totally kissable.

Orchids
Every nzgirl has a flower of choice - and I mean more specific than if you were to just get some flowers, any flowers, even home-picked ones... Jenene was inundated with gorgeous blossoms for her birthday this week, including this gorgeous arrangement from Nina and Co and it reminded me of my favourite flower, the orchid! They're gorgeous, elegant, luscious and long-lasting. My advice to any nzboys reading this, send me an orchid and I'll be a fan for life. That and find out the flower of choice for your lady friends and ensure they're kept in plentiful supply!
