What (or who) are we loving this week? You'll have to read on to find out the hottest five things that have touched down in nzgirl over the past seven days. There's a great tipple for a winter’s day, a delicious lunch time treat and our new office crush – but who?

Dilmah Single Estate Tea
The nzgirl team love a perfect cup of tea – and Dilmah’s come to the party once again with their new Single Estate teas to add a bit of luxury to your winter cuppa. Packaged up in cute air tight canisters, there are four flavours available; Somerset Estate Pekoe, Broken Orange Pekoe Special, Flowery Broken Orange Pekoe and my personal favourite Lover’s Leap Pekoe, described as “like champagne made from cool climate grapes picked before they get too ripe”. Each tea bag is biodegradable and made from a special material that goes transparent in water, so you can see the tea leaves as they unfurl – all the ambience of a pot of tea leaves without the hassle! Cadbury Dairy Milk Goes Bananas!
The amount of times I’ve tried to describe the Cadbury Dairy Milk Gorilla to my friends and family – “Imagine a gorilla, he’s sitting at a drum kit, psyching himself up with some deep breathing…to the tune of In the 'Air Tonight'…and then when the music goes wild he just goes nuts…are you with me, a gorilla that just goes nuts on the drums”. As you could imagine, unless you see it, you’d never believe it! That's why I'm so excited that Cadbury have unleashed the Dairy Milk Gorilla ad on the NZ small screen so everyone can enjoy! If you were wondering what a gorilla has to do with Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate, then you’ll just have to watch to find out…

Alice Smith
Do you love to find out about artists before others? Note down the name Alice Smith then! We’ve got another musical crush going on in the nzgirl office – NYC chanteuse Alice! Reason one: we heart songbirds like Alice who can get up and belt out a strong tune and keep us equally captivated and comforted while we work. Reason two: while you could liken her to Norah Jones, Sade, Alicia Keys or Jill Scott because of her soulfulness, her eclectic taste and range of songs mean she’s got a way broader palette than ‘neo-soul’ – look for rock, R&B, blues and jazz influences as well. Reason three: her cover image is designed by Audrey Kawasaki, another NY girl doing great work with her hot art nouveau-ish images of girls on wood.

Very Special Soup
There’s nothing like a bowl of piping hot soup to tide you over a winter lunchtime! And just because it’s no longer National Soup Week, that’s no reason to abate! Soup is super easy to heat and eat – we’ve all got our office favourite flavours but love the convenience of the Wattie’s Very Special range to keep stockpiled in the nzgirl kitchen for soup on the go. Don’t’ forget you can get creative with your soup of choice – stir some sour cream and nutmeg through pumpkin or add a swirl of basil pesto to tomato. And, according to the rules of Bonnie and I, it’s compulsory to add some toast soldiers to the side.

We heart Dai Henwood
Prior to yesterday, the nzgirl crew had admired kiwi funnyman and C4 presenter Dai Henwood from a distance (apart from Isla who had the pleasure of a voxpop with him on her way to Uni a few years ago). Sure we knew the ‘Time after Time’ interpretive dance (more on that another day) and D-Diddy, but who was the man under the mask? That all changed when he came into the nzgirl office to cook up a storm for us – you’ll have to wait until we share his Trade Secrets with you to find out exactly what and how it went down. Nonetheless, when he left our presence, we were all big fans and think you should be too! Look out for the return of his show Roll the Dai – coming to you fresh from the Australian outback from July 7, at 9.30pm on C4.
